PharstCare was founded in 2019 in Ghana with one mission: make quality healthcare accessible to every young African. What started as that conviction is now a platform where prevention, treatment, and daily support live in one connected experience.

How we got here

PharstCare began with a simple belief: care should be within reach before crisis hits, not only after. We combine preventive care, clinical care when you need it, and tools that fit real life, so health is something you steer, not only react to.

Today we work with clinicians, care teams, pharmacies, labs, delivery partners, and investors who share that vision. Our story is still being written with every consultation, delivery, and person who trusts us with their health.

Who we are

PharstCare is built by dedicated teams in Ghana: leadership, clinicians, customer care, engineering, design, and pharmacy and delivery partners. Each group below explains what they do and who leads it.

The Dream Team

The Dream Team is our main leadership group. Theophilus Nutifafa as CEO sets direction, culture, and priorities across product, clinical quality, and growth. The team stays close to every other group so the experience stays one coherent journey, not silos.

Clinical Care Team

Dr. Samuel Essilfie leads clinical care across a multidisciplinary team. The bench pulls in the right licensed roles for each case, from frontline clinicians to lab, pharmacy, speciality input, and more. Together they define how telemedicine, prescriptions, follow-up, and escalation work in practice, and they work with engineering and care operations so clinical policy shows up in the product, not only in a handbook.

Care Team

Josefina A. Boateng leads the Care Team as COO. They are your front line for questions, troubleshooting, and routing you to a clinician or partner when needed. Everyone is trained on our workflows so you are not bounced between departments with no owner.

Engineering

Aikins Laryea leads engineering. The team ships the mobile apps, backend services, integrations with partners, and the reliability work that keeps consults and deliveries moving. Together they bring over twenty years of combined professional experience across products and platforms.

Design Team

Josue Adimado leads the Design Team. They shape how PharstCare looks and feels across the app and marketing, from flows and components to accessibility and consistency. They work with engineering and clinical so design decisions support real use, not only mockups.

Partners and logistics

We work with a network of partner pharmacies for sourcing and fulfilment. Last-mile delivery runs through partners such as Bolt and Yango, alongside independent local riders where that is the best fit for speed and coverage.
